What this site keeps

Privacy

lodekennes.com is the personal site of Lode Kennes, CTO of Nexa Legal, in Geel, Belgium. He is the controller for any personal data this site handles. There is no company privacy team behind it, and no product account graph. The site has no user accounts, no comment forms, no newsletter, and no payment flow.

Nothing is loaded from a third-party origin. Fonts, the portrait, and the scripts all sit on this domain. There are no analytics tags, no advertising pixels, and no A/B tools. The only thing stored in the browser is an optional paper choice: if someone picks day or night paper, that preference is written to localStorage under the key "paper" so the next visit opens on the same stock. Auto follows the operating system and stores nothing. Clearing site data removes it.

The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Cloudflare sees ordinary request metadata — IP address, user agent, path, and timing — as any HTTPS host does, and may keep operational logs to run the network. This site does not use those logs to profile readers. Email sent to work@lodekennes.com is ordinary email: it lands in an inbox and is kept as correspondence, not as a marketing list.

The portrait on the record is a photograph of Lode Kennes. Press clippings and employer names on the record are already public. This page is the policy; there is no separate processor list because there is no product stack sitting on top of the page.
